Management System Thinking is a Superpower

In this miniseries, “management system thinking” is a verb that gains superpower status when linked to disciplined “asset management”.

One must act in accordance with its principles to find the Pathway to Limitless Asset Management. Superpower status is possible when one believes in and can trust their organization’s asset management system to manage enterprise risk, opportunities, performance, and change.
Asset Management as a Superpower
A superpower is an extraordinary ability that surpasses what is considered normal. For example, all organizations are challenged by complexity. Organizations use specialized management capabilities to manage complexity. These capabilities are organized into functions and disciplines that are then organized into groups and departments.
This is the basis for every organizational chart we have ever looked at. Asset management through management system thinking is a superpower that simplifies the complexity of managing assets across and throughout organizations. Doing so in a disciplined way generates extraordinary value that, if done right, becomes a superpower.
Management System Evolution
Management systems are a natural phenomenon. They have been with us for as long as we had things called organizations. They define “how we do things around here”. Overtime, through trial and error, organizations have learned what works. This is the genesis for the study of management systems.
