Asset Management System Behavior Miniseries

This article completes the last of seven Asset Management System (AMS) support areas that are covered in the ISO 55001 update.  This support area is knowledge.  The definition of knowledge used by the ISO 55000 series of standards comes from ISO 30401 – Knowledge Management Systems – Requirements.  Its definition of knowledge is it is a “human or organizational asset enabling effective decision(s) and action(s) in context”.
