This article continues the AMP Asset Management (AM) Framework miniseries and provides an overview of Management Activity Group (MAG) #6 – Execution of Asset Management Plans (AMPs).  The first half, published earlier, covered MAG #6 - Overview, Purpose, and Outcomes.  This second half covers MAG #6 - Alignment, Scope, and Outputs. Context, Policy, and ISO 55000/1 Alignment

MAG #6 activities are governed by ISO 55001: 8. - Operations requirements.  These simplify to:

• Execute the plan - ISO 55001: 8.1. - Operational Planning and Control,

• Manage change related to execution of the plan - ISO 55001: 8.2. - Management of Change, and

• Have a plan for when anticipated levels of change have been exceeded - ISO 55001: 6. - Planning and 8.3. - Outsourcing
