Overview
MAG #6 executes the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and supporting Asset Management Plans (AMPs) developed in MAG #5. These plans establish strategies, criteria, and priorities to commit the resources, budget, investments, and capabilities consumed by assets and the organization's Asset Management System (AMS). The resulting plans establish order, priority, conditions, and guidance that direct execution of supporting resources and investments. The range of activities goes from small purchases and execution of minor work orders to large multiyear capital programs.
